Inspired By...#84

It is time for another inspiration challenge.  Summer is a time when a lot of people travel so I was inspired by this photo.

How will you be inspired? travel, colors, polka dots, metal, stitching, stacked.

For my project, I was inspired by all of the colors, which made me think of this plaid paper in the Lakeside Collection by Pebbles.  I also wanted to include some tags as usually suitcases have a tag or two tied to them.  Everything here is from the Lakeside Collection except the clothespin, but it is still from Pebbles.

I can't wait to see what you will do!

Inspired By...#83

It is time for another inspiration challenge and I know I always say this, but I love this one.

How will you be inspired? colors, sketch, crochet, gingham, flowers...

For my project I created this quick and easy card based on the sketch of the pillow and the prints - I always love some gingham (that is my wishing I was a 'farm girl' in a big farm house). I used my Kate & Company Cambridge collection by My Mind's Eye, along with a Wise Word by Jillibean Soup and a Silhouette cut.  Aren't these papers so pretty?

Now I can't wait to see what you create!

Inspired By...#82

Happy July 4th to all of my American Friends!  I hope that you have a great day!

For today's inspiration, I chose to go with Gold, Blue and White (almost red, white and blue - no?)  Both gold and nautical are trends I am noticing all over blog land so I thought I would incorporate both for the inspiration this week.

How will you be inspired?  colors, nautical, gold, charms, circles, buttons...

I decided to go with the colors and the nautical theme with my card today.  I combined my Kate & Company Oxford collection by My Mind's Eye with a glitter paper from the Summer Stories by Teresa Collins.  The die cut is with my Silhouette, backed by some Fabric Tape by Love My Tapes.  Finally the sentiment is a sticker from SRM Stickers tied up with a bit of May Arts twine.

Since it is the first challenge of the month I have a prize up for grabs today.  I am just in the middle of purging/organizing my craft room so I am not sure what it will be yet but it will be good ;)

I can't wait to see what you create!
