It was a lot of fun seeing ideas from our members this week for IB183 & IB183C. Everyone is so talented and it is so fun to see where the inspiration will take you! It is also fun to see the Christmas inspiration being shared, it will make sending and delivering paper hugs a lot easier at Christmas time (a very busy time of year for all of us)!

The winner, chosen by a DT member, of the Flower Me In challenge is this gorgeous card from Betty.  We love her interpretation of the challenge, her flowers are so gorgeous and that glittered sentiment against the vellum is the perfect focal, wow.

The honorable mention, chosen by a DT memberof the Flower Me In  challenge is this beautiful Christmas card from Nancy.  We love how she interpreted IB183C, what a beautiful design!

 Congratulations Betty and Nancy!

We can't wait to see more of your cards!

We hope you'll join us in this week's challenge: IB184 Penguin Love

Inspired By...Penguin Love IB184

Sending and delivering hugs, one card at a time...

We are introducing a new annual feature to the challenge blog from August-December.  We know that there are a lot of amazing sites to choose from when seeking inspiration, and we ALL only have so much time in any given week to create.  We want to offer challenges that will spark an idea for a card for any occasion you may need, but also spark an idea for a Christmas/Holiday card for your friends, co-workers or loved ones.  It is so busy from July-December, we want to encourage you to create/work "smarter not harder" (insert big smiley face), and if our challenges can give you inspiration for both, maybe you will have inspiration to motivate ALL of us to have some handmade Christmas/Holiday cards or tags come Holiday time!

So,  each week we can't wait to see if you are inspired by the photo "IB" challenge, the Christmas/Holiday photo "IBC" challenge, or the sketch (you can use the sketch ANY way you like, and we have great sketch interpreters among us!)

Ready to take a look at the photos? (As always, the sketch is at the end of the inspiration from the DT).

How are you inspired this week?
Colors? Penguin?  Sketch? Winter? Holiday Penguins?
We welcome your submissions for this challenge until Wednesday, September 1, 11:55pm pst. The winner of each challenge is announced on                   Sunday after the new challenge opens.

The winner, chosen by a DT member, of the Fintastic Birthday challenge is this incredible card from Elizabeth.  We love her interpretation of the challenge and love the surprise through her portholes.  Imagine "sea-ing" this card in person (sorry had to), what an incredible paper hug it would be!  Thank you for inspiring us this week to "dive deeper" and "tri-open" something new :)

The honorable mention, chosen by a DT memberof the Fintastic Birthday challenge is this CUTE card(s) from Nancy.  She created two of the cutest cards for Christmas, and this just feels like Christmas in August!  Thank you for inspiring us this week!

 Congratulations Elizabeth and Nancy!

We can't wait to see more of your cards!
