Inspired By...#77

Love, love, love these colors!

How will you be inspired? colors, fruit, sketch, paper piercing...

I went with the colors but then I added in the black for a funky retro kind of feel to my layout.  I love these photos I took of my daughter and boyfriend just goofing around one day.  I used the Park Bench collection by Fancy Pants, lots of Unity Stamp sets (mostly SMAK kits) and the Reel Life Die-namics, 3 X 4 Pocket and Stacking Star Die-namics.  The wooden veneer stars and speech bubble are from Studio Calico, the camera clip is from Freckled Fawn and the Washi Tape is from Cute Tape.  Finally, I also used my Suburbia Cricut cartridge to cut out the shoes and silhouette. I love how this layout turned out and I had a lot of fun creating it!

Some close ups, love the first pocket as the stamp goes so well with the photo.

I was inspired by a layout created by Amy Heller but unfortunately I can't find it to link to it, but her blog is so full of inspiration!

Now I can't wait to see what you create!

Inspired By #75 Winner

I really had a difficult time choosing a winner for the Distressed Still Life challenge.  There were some fabulous entries, including layouts - I love when I see other projects besides just cards.  Thank you everyone for playing along.  In the end I went with this:

( I just love the hearts, washi, the little dots...)

Congratulations Heather!

Now don't forget to play along with the Chevron Travel Inspired Challenge:

Inspired By...#76

Welcome to another Inspired By Challenge.  Isn't this a fun photo?!

How will you be inspired? travel, chevrons, glasses (trendy right now), colors, purse, the little tag...

I have a special Guest this week and I am so lucky to have her here.  Barb plays along with many of my challenges and always has such fabulous projects to share, be sure to check out her blog!  I love how Barb has incorporated the colors, theme and chevron all into this fun card!  Love the twine too, I always love twine ;)

Thanks so much for playing along Barb!

Now I went with the colors and pulled out the chevron, which is really what caught my eye in the photo.  I used my Teresa Collins Stationary Noted Collection along with a Studio Calico veener piece.

Now I can't wait to see what you create!
